Chris Parker

Chris qualified in ITEC Holistic Massage in September 2008.

After qualifying, he then went on to study further advanced techniques to add to his skill set, ranging from Natural Face Lift, On Site Chair, Indian Head, Advanced Deep Tissue work, and then in February 2009 he qualified as a Thai Massage Therapist having spent a week studying at the ITM school in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Adding further to his Thai skills, Chris also trained in Thai Herbal Compress and Thai Foot massage and then in October 2009 went back to Thailand, this time to study further Traditional Thai Massage at the legendary Wat Po school in Bangkok

Not letting civil protests and rioting get in the way, Chris returned to Bangkok in May 2010 to further his skill in Thai Foot Massage and Herb Compress Massage.

Chris is a very approachable and friendly therapist based in West London. His background has not always being in complementary therapies though! He has worked in the IT industry for almost 15 years working in the aviation industry, and most recently (and currently) in the media industry as a team leader at the BBC

He discovered a passion for massage after experiencing treatments in the UK and on many overseas trips to the Far East, where he began to realise the powerful effects, not just physically, but psychologically too

This led to further reasearch, moving from client to therapist under the excellent guidance of his tutors at Inspire Massage Workshops

In June 2009, Chris went back to the classroom at Inspire, however this time in the role as tutor where he teaches a selection of workshops at the London centre. Check out the link above for more details and dates!

Chris continues to work in IT, and practices as a massage therapist and tutor in the evenings and at weekends, with the aim of helping you as the client to feel the benefits of massage just as he did.

Chris is fully insured and registered with the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA)
